Meat and Cabbage Pie Recipe

  • 500g puff pastry
  • 600-800g pork
  • 1.2-1.5kg cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato ketchup
  • 100g mayonnaise
  • 100g water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dill to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying


  1. Wash and finely chop the cabbage.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the onion. Fry the cabbage and onion in a pan with some sunflower oil. Add a little water and cook until tender.
  3. Slice the pork and fry until cooked through.
  4. Mix the cooked cabbage and pork together, and add salt, pepper, mayonnaise, ketchup, and dill. Mix well.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and cut in half.
  6. Place the filling on one half of the pastry and cover with the other half. Pinch the edges together.
  7. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, place the pie inside, and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Garnish with a sprig of dill before serving.
