Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 700 grams of fish fillet
  • 100 grams of white bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Breadcrumbs for breading
  • Vegetable oil for frying


  1. Rinse the fish fillet, pat it dry, and cut it into random pieces.
  2. Soak the white bread in water and squeeze it.
  3. Peel and cut the onion into pieces. Grind the fish fillet, onion, and bread in a meat grinder until smooth.
  4. Add the egg, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Mix everything until smooth and leave for 20 minutes.
  5. During this time, the prepared mixture will become denser. Form the mixture into patties, coat each patty in breadcrumbs, and fry on both sides in hot vegetable oil until golden brown.
  6. You can serve the fish patties with boiled rice or mashed potatoes. Alternatively, they can be served as a separate dish.
