Steamed Halibut with Pineapple and Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • Skinless halibut – 600g
  • Corn flour – 30g
  • Vanilla – 2 pods
  • Dried mushrooms – 200g
  • Egg yolks – 1
  • Canned pineapple – 335g
  • Thick cream – 4 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and soak dried mushrooms in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. Place the mushrooms in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream, egg yolk, and corn flour until smooth. Place the mixture in a rice bowl and steam for 20 minutes along with the mushrooms.
  4. Rinse and pat dry the halibut, then cut it into portions. Place the fish in the steamer and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Cut the vanilla pods in half and place them on top of the fish. Drain the pineapple and cut into cubes, then add to the steamer and steam everything together for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Arrange the mushrooms on plates, place the fish on top, and drizzle with a small amount of the pineapple juice.
  7. Garnish with pineapple pieces and serve.
