Cabbage pancakes recipe ingredients:
- 300g cabbage
- 1 onion
- 200ml kefir
- 1 egg
- 5 tablespoons of flour
- 1/3 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- sour cream to taste
- vegetable oil for frying
Cabbage pancakes recipe instructions:
- Finely chop the cabbage and season with salt and pepper. Then, knead the cabbage with your hands.
- Peel and grate the onion, and peel and crush the garlic. In a bowl, combine the cabbage, onion, and garlic.
- Add kefir, egg, flour, baking powder, and mix well.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan, and fry the cabbage pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
- Place the pancakes on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve hot with sour cream.
Note: “Kefir” is a fermented milk drink that is similar to yogurt but thinner in consistency. It can be substituted with buttermilk or yogurt.
