Simple Pea Soup Recipe

Простой гороховый суп


  • 2.5-3 liters water
  • 300-400 grams smoked pork belly
  • 2 cups dried peas
  • 3 potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste


  1. Rinse the dried peas thoroughly under running water.
  2. Cut the smoked pork belly into small cubes. Peel and dice the potatoes into similar-sized cubes. Peel and grate the carrots.
  3. Peel and finely chop the onion.
  4. Put all the ingredients in a pot and add cold water.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1-1.5 hours.
  6. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot with crackers.
