Ingredients:
- 2.5-3 liters water
- 300-400 grams smoked pork belly
- 2 cups dried peas
- 3 potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 onion
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Rinse the dried peas thoroughly under running water.
- Cut the smoked pork belly into small cubes. Peel and dice the potatoes into similar-sized cubes. Peel and grate the carrots.
- Peel and finely chop the onion.
- Put all the ingredients in a pot and add cold water.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 1-1.5 hours.
- Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot with crackers.
