Ingredients for Mushroom sauce recipe:

  • Mushrooms – 200 grams
  • Onion – 1 piece
  • Tomato paste – 4 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Dill and parsley – to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water

Directions for Mushroom sauce recipe:

  1. Rinse and clean the onion, cut into half rings and fry in vegetable oil.
  2. When the onion is slightly browned, add tomato paste and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add 1-1.5 cups of boiling water and bring to a boil.
  4. Rinse, dry, and slice the mushrooms and add them to the onion mixture. Mix well and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and finely chopped dill and parsley a few minutes before the sauce is fully cooked. Mix well.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  7. Mushroom sauce is ready.
