Raspberry turnovers

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 3 cups of flour
  • 200g of unsalted butter
  • 400ml of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 10g of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • vegetable oil for greasing the baking sheet

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 500g of raspberries
  • sugar to taste
  • powdered sugar to taste

Recipe:

  1. Melt the butter, mix it with sugar and salt. Mix well and add milk.
  2. Sift the flour and baking powder into a deep bowl. Pour the milk mixture into the bowl with the flour. Mix well and knead the dough.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
  4. Wash the raspberries and remove the stems.
  5. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out thinly.
  6. Cut the dough into rectangles and put a little sugar and raspberries on each rectangle. Carefully pinch the edges of the turnovers and put them on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25 minutes, until the turnovers are golden brown.
  8. Take the turnovers out of the oven, put them on a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
