Fish Pie Recipe

Ingredients for the pastry:

  • 200g sour cream
  • 200g mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 5 tablespoons of flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 1 can of canned pink salmon
  • 4-5 eggs
  • 1 onion

Directions:

  1. Combine the flour with the baking powder and salt, then add the mayonnaise, sour cream, and egg. Mix well to form a smooth liquid dough.
  2. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Pour one part into a preheated and greased with vegetable oil baking dish.
  3. Mash the pink salmon with a fork.
  4. Peel, wash, and chop the onion. Then sauté it in a preheated pan with vegetable oil until golden brown.
  5. Boil the eggs, let them cool, peel and finely chop them.
  6. In a deep bowl, combine the pink salmon with the fried onions and boiled eggs.
  7. Spread the resulting filling over the dough in the baking dish.
  8. Pour the remaining dough over the filling.
  9. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for about 35 minutes.
  10. After baking, let the pie cool. Then transfer it to a serving dish and cut it into neat pieces.
