Pickled mushrooms

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 kg of mushrooms
  • 1 liter of water
  • 4 tablespoons of 9% vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • black peppercorns, to taste
  • allspice berries, to taste

Instructions for the recipe:

  1. Put the mushrooms into boiling water and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the mushrooms using a colander and pour boiling water over them.
  3. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Add it to the pot with the mushrooms along with the salt, sugar, cloves, bay leaves, and pepper.
  4. Pour in the vinegar and cook for 15 minutes. Then remove from heat.
  5. Put the mushrooms with the sauce into clean jars and seal them. Let the mushrooms cool down.
  6. Place the cooled jars in the refrigerator for at least one day. The pickled mushrooms are now ready!
