Marinated Cauliflower

Маринованная цветная капуста

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 kilograms of cauliflower
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 liter of water
  • 175 ml of 9% vinegar
  • 175 ml of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of salt

Recipe:

Wash the cauliflower and divide it into large florets. Wash and peel the carrots and grate them using a large grater. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Mix the cauliflower, carrots, and garlic in a deep dish.

Prepare the sauce: mix water, sugar, and salt, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add vinegar. Pour this marinade over the vegetables, put a weight on top, and leave in a warm place for a day.

After a day, transfer the vegetables with the sauce to a jar and refrigerate. The marinated cauliflower will be ready in a day.
