Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2.5 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 350 grams of ground beef
- 1 onion
- 2 pickles
- 1 tomato
- lettuce leaves
- ketchup
- mayonnaise
- black pepper
- salt
- sesame seeds
- 1 egg for brushing
- vegetable oil for brushing
Preparation:
- Mix warm milk and warm water until smooth. Add yeast and sugar. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. Then add vegetable oil, 1 egg, and about 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix everything well.
- Add the sifted flour in small portions, and knead until the dough is smooth. Place the prepared dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Divide the risen dough into 8-9 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, flatten slightly, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
- After the rest, flatten the balls again, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C until golden brown.
- Mix the ground beef with the remaining egg, salt, and black pepper. Shape into flat patties and grill in a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil until browned on both sides.
- Wash and dry the tomatoes and lettuce leaves. Slice the onion into rings, and the tomatoes and pickles into circles.
- Cut each baked bun in half, spread mayonnaise, and add lettuce leaves, onion rings, and a patty. Top with ketchup, pickles, and the other half of the bun.
- Heat the hamburgers in the microwave before serving, if desired.
