Hamburger

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2.5 cups of flour
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of dry yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 350 grams of ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 2 pickles
  • 1 tomato
  • lettuce leaves
  • ketchup
  • mayonnaise
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • sesame seeds
  • 1 egg for brushing
  • vegetable oil for brushing

Preparation:

  1. Mix warm milk and warm water until smooth. Add yeast and sugar. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. Then add vegetable oil, 1 egg, and about 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix everything well.
  2. Add the sifted flour in small portions, and knead until the dough is smooth. Place the prepared dough in a bowl greased with vegetable oil and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  3. Divide the risen dough into 8-9 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, flatten slightly, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  4. After the rest, flatten the balls again, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C until golden brown.
  5. Mix the ground beef with the remaining egg, salt, and black pepper. Shape into flat patties and grill in a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil until browned on both sides.
  6. Wash and dry the tomatoes and lettuce leaves. Slice the onion into rings, and the tomatoes and pickles into circles.
  7. Cut each baked bun in half, spread mayonnaise, and add lettuce leaves, onion rings, and a patty. Top with ketchup, pickles, and the other half of the bun.
  8. Heat the hamburgers in the microwave before serving, if desired.
