
Ingredients for “New Year’s Donuts”:
- 4 cups flour
- 10 grams dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar syrup
- 2 cups raisins
- 1 tablespoon salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar to taste
Instructions for “New Year’s Donuts”: In a cup, add dry yeast and sugar. Then pour in water and leave in a warm place for half an hour. In a bowl, combine beaten eggs, milk, sugar syrup, raisins, yeast mixture, salt, and sifted flour. Mix everything well and knead the dough.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place for 2 hours. Using a spoon, scoop out the dough and fry the donuts in a skillet with plenty of vegetable oil until golden brown.
Place the donuts on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Arrange the donuts on a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve. “New Year’s Donuts” are ready!
