Cream Puffs

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 75-100 grams of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Lemon zest, to taste
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for greasing the baking sheet

Recipe instructions:

In a saucepan, combine the butter, hot water, and salt and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the sifted flour, stirring vigorously. Return the pan to low heat and continue to stir the mixture until the dough starts to come away from the sides of the pan.

Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, stirring constantly. Add lemon zest and sugar to taste, and knead the dough until it is soft and elastic. Use a spoon to drop the dough onto a prepared baking sheet, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40 minutes.
