Rye bread baked in the oven

Ingredients for Rye bread recipe:

  • 1.5 cups rye flour
  • 1.5 cups wheat flour
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Flour for dusting
  • Vegetable oil for greasing

Instructions for Rye bread recipe:

  1. Mix yeast and sugar with warm water and leave for 15 minutes until the yeast water is bubbly.
  2. In a separate bowl, sift two types of flour.
  3. Add salt and vegetable oil to the flour mixture.
  4. Slowly add the frothy yeast water in small portions and knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour to rise in volume.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface, knead it well, and transfer to a vegetable oil-greased baking form.
  7. Cover the form with the dough with plastic wrap and leave for 20 minutes to rise.
  8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and bake the bread for 40-45 minutes.
