Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken
- 200g mayonnaise
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 12 potatoes
- vegetable oil
- ground black pepper
- salt
- herbs
Instructions:
- Wash the chicken and rub the mixture of salt and ground black pepper on the inside and outside of the chicken.
- Peel and chop the garlic with a garlic press, then mix it with the mayonnaise.
- Rub the chicken with the garlic and mayonnaise mixture, then refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
- Cut the potatoes in half and place them around the chicken on an oiled baking sheet, with the cut side down.
- Season the chicken and potatoes with salt and pepper, and drizzle with vegetable oil.
- Bake the chicken and potatoes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 1.5-2 hours.
- Garnish with chopped herbs before serving.
