Napoleon Cake with Ready-made Pastry

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of ready-made puff pastry For the cream:
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 125g of flour
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup of whipped cream

Recipe:

  1. Combine flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add beaten egg yolks and mix well. Gradually pour in hot milk and stir.
  3. Cook the mixture over low heat until it thickens. Remove from heat, cool and add whipped cream.
  4. Divide the pastry into 8-9 parts, roll each part thinly and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  6. Stack the pastry layers on top of each other, spreading the cream between each layer.
  7. Napoleon Cake with Ready-made Pastry is ready to serve!
