Ingredients:
- 1 kg of ready-made puff pastry For the cream:
- 3 cups of milk
- 6 egg yolks
- 125g of flour
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- 1 cup of whipped cream
Recipe:
- Combine flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
- Add beaten egg yolks and mix well. Gradually pour in hot milk and stir.
- Cook the mixture over low heat until it thickens. Remove from heat, cool and add whipped cream.
- Divide the pastry into 8-9 parts, roll each part thinly and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Stack the pastry layers on top of each other, spreading the cream between each layer.
