Ingredients for Meat with Prunes recipe:

  • 700g of meat
  • 300g of prunes
  • 4 onions
  • Basil to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions for Meat with Prunes recipe:

Wash the meat, pat it dry with paper towels, and cut it into pieces. Peel and slice the onions into thin rings and fry them in sunflower oil until translucent. Then add the beef and fry, stirring occasionally, until it has a beautiful, golden-brown crust. Add the prunes cut into small pieces, salt, and pepper to the meat.

Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 1.5-2 hours. If necessary, add a little water to the meat. Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped basil and serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
