Ingredients:
Puff pastry – 450 grams
Lemons – 3 pieces
Sugar – 250-400 grams
Butter – 50 grams
Cornstarch – 1 teaspoon
Egg yolk – 1 piece
Milk – 2 tablespoons.
Instructions:
- Wash lemons, scald with boiling water and pass through a meat grinder.
- Add softened butter, sugar to the lemon mixture and place it on the stove. Mix everything well and bring to a boil.
- Constantly stirring, boil for 15 minutes until it becomes like liquid honey. Remove from heat and let cool.
- After that, divide the puff pastry into two parts, roll it out, lay one part in a greased vegetable oil baking dish and make sides. Then add the lemon filling and sprinkle with cornstarch. Cover with the second part of the dough, make small indentations and brush with a mixture of beaten egg yolk and milk.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes. Lemon puff pastry pie is ready.
