Ingredients:
- 1-1.3 kg beef tenderloin
- 200g prunes
- 1 carrot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- parsley, to taste
- dill, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Rinse the meat and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Peel and chop the carrot into small pieces.
- Chop the garlic into small pieces.
- Soak the prunes in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain and chop into small pieces.
- Cut deep slits all over the surface of the meat with a sharp knife.
- Stuff the meat with the chopped carrot, garlic, and prunes.
- Rub salt and spices over the entire surface of the meat.
- Fold a piece of foil in half and place the onion rings, parsley, and dill on top of it. Place the meat on top of the herbs.
- Place more onion rings and herbs on top of the meat.
- Wrap the meat in foil, place it in a cast-iron pot, pour a little water into the pot, and cover with a lid.
- Preheat the oven to 250-300 degrees Celsius and bake the meat for 40-60 minutes.
- Beef with prunes in the oven is ready!
